My name is Eric Napoli, and I am a U.S. qualified attorney from the Washington, DC area who has been living and working in Madrid, Spain now for close to two decades. Throughout my professional life I have done everything from working in NGOs and non-profits in international development to sustainable development and environmental litigator, educator and administrator in higher education at a top business school. I have also worked with start-ups both as a lawyer, wordsmith and business strategist, and now lead a team of kick-ass in-house lawyers at Europe’s most prominent tech company and the world’s market leader in its sector.
With this blog, I hope to discuss the challenges relating to new technologies and how lawyers can be better business partners for their clients, whether as in-house or external counsel.
